Membership
As the peak body for the Lived Experience workforce across Queensland, QLEWN connects, champions, and supports the individuals and organisations involved in Lived Experience work.
We recognise the range of lived experiences, roles, contexts, and workplaces in our sector, so we offer different membership options to be as inclusive as possible.
In November 2025, QLEWN commenced stewardship of the IMPACT Network to ensure its continuation when seed funding expired. The IMPACT Network brings together collective expertise, community collaboration, and a shared commitment to strengthening the lived experience voice across sectors in Queensland.
Individual Memberships
Individuals can apply to join QLEWN and/or IMPACT Network if they are eligible (see below). These memberships currently require separate sign ups using the buttons below.
Individual memberships are currently FREE to join!
QLEWN Full Member
For any individual who:
- is currently working in an identified Lived Experience role in Queensland (paid or unpaid),
- supports QLEWN's Objects, Values, and Vision, and
- maintains a current financial membership (FREE until 31.12.2026).
QLEWN Associate Member
For any individual who:
- is NOT currently working in an identified Lived Experience role in Queensland (paid or unpaid),
- supports QLEWN's Objects, Values, and Vision, and
- maintains a current financial membership (FREE until 31.12.2026).
IMPACT Network Member
Currently FREE to join!
For any individual who works (paid, unpaid, or studying) in Lived Experience across any of these areas:
mental health, alcohol and other drugs (AOD), suicide prevention, disability, housing and homelessness, family and intimate partner violence, justice roles, First Nations and CALD spaces, youth settings, non‑identified peer or relational roles, or similar.

Organisational Memberships
Joining QLEWN as an organisation is a great way to support the ongoing development of the Lived Experience Workforce and to engage your Lived Experience employees in connecting and networking with the greater Lived Experience workforce.
Our annual fees for organisations are $250 for organisations with up to 15 employees and $500 for organisations with more than 15 employees.
